Trail Conditions: Good, early season riding.  Base: 2″. New Snow: 1-2″ in past 24 hours

I’ve spent a lot of hours in and out of the tractor the last two days, with chainsaw nearby. The wet heavy snow is great for building a base, but also brings along issues with weight on tree branches. I’d like to recognize some volunteers who put a lot of time in cleaning trails and panning the base as well … Groomer Drivers: Joel Stepke & Dave Fordon; Along with Volunteers:  TJ O’Malley & Karson Kyhnell helped with branch clearing. We’re off to a great start, but please be conservative on the throttle and help us keep the base intact!

Rode to Mesick Tuesday evening and stopped in Trailside Tavern! Took Trail 37 up there, and was decent, as it was before Groomer Dave had cleared and panned that section. Took railroad grade south which was surprisingly good as well.
