Pete hitting the trail

TRAIL BASE: zero-1”
TRAIL CONDITIONS: Poor
NEW SNOW LAST 24 HRS: Dusting

Hello- We are still awaiting snow, but things are looking promising in the coming weeks forecast. Depending on where you look, we are expecting 6-8″ of snow from today through Next Saturday. Please ride cautiously in these early days, as there will be rutting from tires and until we can groom and smooth things out, trails will be tricky in spots.

Cadillac Area Visitiors Bureau, along with Tread Lightly and Can Am are making some nice improvements to our Cadillac system.  With the help of some grants, CAVB has added some new signage to our system.  Two new signs have been installed in the Caberfae Trail Head and one at the 33 Rd staging area. These signs will give both sledders and wheeled riders some guidelines for their respective “seasons”.  These signs are really well done and we expect to see more like them around the area in coming months.

Caberfae is happy to have some colder temps and their snowmaking crews are making the slopes great again. When our natural snow isn’t cooperating, it sure makes us realize how important Caberfae Peaks is to the local economy. Pete & Tim sure do a great job over there and the many improvements over the years is very noticeable to us locals.

THINK SNOW!
