July 25 | Duke & the Studebakers

July 25, 2020 @ 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Duke and the Studebakers have been entertaining classic rock audiences, almost continuously, since its founding in 1988. The band got its name from the beat-up Studebaker truck they used to haul their band equipment and an old hound dog named Duke!

The band has a long-time following, spanning nearly 30 years. The band is known for its smooth, 4-part harmony, crowd-pleasing classic rock-n-roll, and passion for music and entertainment. Audiences of all ages come to hear them wherever they go and hold their attention for hours.

Kearney Walters, as the lead crooner, never ceases to amaze audiences with his depth of knowledge of long time favorites from That’ll Be the Day, You Lost that Lovin’ Feelin’ and Sweet Caroline, to popular B-side songs such as Poke Salad Annie, Suzie Q, and Grandpa. Kearney has a very distinctive voice and he never disappoints.

With Herb Cottier on lead guitar and vocals, Mike LaValley on Bass and vocals, and Paul Guyon on drums and vocals, their 4-part harmony on classics such as Seven Bridges Road and Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door must be heard to appreciate!

The band is preparing for its 2017 Spirit in the Sky tour of select Northern Michigan venues and expects to sell-out its summer weekend. Some bookings are still available; call Mike 231-709-3768 or Herb 231-429-5566.
