Trail Conditions: Excellent; Base: 4-6″; New Snow Last 24 Hrs: 1-2″
It doesn’t get much better than this! I’ve been riding in this area for over 45 years, and can’t remember better base/conditions than we have right now. I groomed yesterday, Trail 37 south to Trail 35, and north to Trail 637. A few small bumps, but overall, fantastic conditions! Trails are firm and fast, so continue to ride safely and ride right.
Another Safety Note: When encountering a Groomer, please slow down and look for a place to stop for them to pass. By driving up closer to the Groomer, you’re making it inevitable that you’ll have to turn around completely. Groomers are trained to never pass a moving sledder, so either sleds or the Groomer will have to be stopped. Cadillac Winter Promotions has been working hard to make these trails what they are and we appreciate the many nice compliments on the trails, but most importantly we appreciate our volunteer Groomer drivers!
* We’ll have live music tonight at Coyote, $10 cover after 9pm, with Joe Stamm from Central Illinois. And both Friday and Saturday next week (Feb. 6&7th) we’ll have Kendell Marvel, out of Nashville, TN performing in the bar. Tickets on sale on our website, or at the door.
THINK SNOW & RIDE RIGHT! … Pete
