SUMMARY:July 11 | Full Cord Bluegrass

SUMMARY:June 13 | Myron Elkins & The Dying Breed
DESCRIPTION:“We are a Hillbilly band out of Southwest Michigan who plays with a very but hardly traditional sound. In the world of today we would be called Americana\, for there are no songs about Trucks or beer. We do our own songs with lyrical content ranging from the epidemic of Crystal Methamphetamine to story’s of youth\, family and love. Through our music\, we try to inspire truth\, a simple yet lost concept of the world we know today. through our performance\, you will hear hints of Bluegrass\, Rock\, Country Western and maybe even Metal music for our inspiration and backgrounds vary quite differently. This band is made up of all family and close friends from a part of the world that is often overlooked but holds some of the hardest working men and women of the United States. We aim for a raw honest sound and try to channel days that are gone by being us\, not sticking to a stereotypical recipe that is so often supported and held high\, and by doing that we come out with an old-timey but relevant noise that we hope translates to all.” – Myron Elkins and the Dying Breed

SUMMARY:February 15 - Doug Henthorn
DESCRIPTION:Doug’s been changing the oil in a number of projects since founding and fronting the now disbanded blues-rock band Healing Sixes (2000-14). His debut release ‘Cold Medicine’ (2016) is a crafty and brooding songscape with more of a focus on voice and lyric than his previous H6’s era. His current release “The LLC” (2019) is a fun barebones rock record with a healthy dose of newly termed ‘Alternative Blues’. \nDoug is a singer\, guitarist\, songwriter\, performer and producer. Sometimes all at the same time. \nBesides his current solo project and Healing Sixes\, Doug has shared his voice and/or guitar skills with notables such as Joe Bonamassa\, John Hiatt\, Jason Bonham\, and Beth Hart to name a few.\nDoug performs and records all over the US and abroad while maintaining his residence in central Indiana. \nTake a look at ‘Doug’s Projects‘ page for all his accomplishments past and present. \nHighlights over the years: \n-Signed to Columbia Records in mid nineties with the band Pod. \n-Formed Healing Sixes and released four records that featured talents of Kevin Shirley (producer)\, Jason Bonham (drums)\, and Joe Bonamassa (guitar). \n-Performed and recorded with John Hiatt\, Beth Hart\, Joe Bonamassa\, Jason Bonham\, and many others. \n-Performed throughout US\, Mexico\, Canada\, Japan and Europe with noteworthy performances at Royal Albert Hall and Hammersmith Odeon in London with Joe B.
